Two cruise ships are being diverted to San Diego. The pier is swarmed with thousands more people. We were in that area yesterday, so hopefully we will miss the masses, but somehow I doubt it.
Swine flu is big here, all over the news. We did bring our pandemic kits with us, not that they will help much. We are still enjoying the lovely weather and beach. I love the beach. It is the only thing that soothes my weary soul. I am so happy here, I do not want to go home.
I will keep you posted on the swine flu if it gets worse.

Maybe I'm missing something, but how is this different than any other flu? It doesn't seem to be killing anyone over here in the states. People are just getting sick and then getting better, like any other flu.
I have to talk to you here because my outgoing email is not working. I think its because its able to transfer person to person. Some people are dying. I don't really know how bad it is. I don't understand it. I guess we will see
i have heard some people on the news that had it say it was the worse flu they ever had...muscle pain was horrible.
that really stinks if you bought and paid for a cruise to mexico! whooo hoooo i get to go to San Diego insted!!! LOL not that we dont love SD but if you were going to mexico and now cant it would kind of stink to leave LA and go to SD and then just float around on your boat for 7 days
Looks like you had an awesome getaway!! Its always nice to go and not think about the problems in our lives. Loved all of the pictures.
