Christmas is over and so are all the festivities that go along with it. Dani and Chantelle came home with their significant others. It was a very fun time. We always eat tons of junk and play games and just act crazy. I love it when my girls come home. They are both in their junior year at NAU. I am so proud. Anyway Christmas was so fun. We love the holidays and the time we get to spend together. We wore our traditional PJ's. Hid the traditional pickle on the tree so the finder of the pickle christmas morning would get a special present. I was so excited to hide the pickle Christmas eve and very proud I hid it very very good. I think Dani found it in record time. Usually in the past it takes a long time to find it. Not this year. Wow, I didn't hide it as good as I thought.
It was sad to see my girls and their honeys leave for Flagstaff again. I miss them. They will be back though. I love Christmas especially what it stands for "The birth of our Savior". It is such a magical time of year. It is always bitter sweet to say farewell to Christmas and to ring in a new year. This year we chose, or I chose to just stay home and enjoy a quiet evening. We did go outside and greet the "Blue Moon", it was incredibly bright.
The day was not so quiet. We cleaned the house top to bottom. It is tradition to clean the house new years eve so it will be clean for the new year. I know, pretty sick tradition. But I love it and I get to wake up to a clean house and a brand new year.
