Everyone is always saying how we need the rain. Yeah I am sure we do, can I just say that I am so sick of the rain. I would like to have a summer. Just a few months. This area is supposed to have 4 seasons. I have yet to see four seasons here. I have seen winter and monsoon. And yes monsoon is a season. Spring was very short this year, wait we didn't have spring this year. We went from a snowy winter to a couple of weeks of summer and then months of monsoon.
We are now on the verge of winter again. Not sure what we were thinking when we decided to move here. Maybe that it would be a good place to raise a kid. Now the kid is gone and it’s just the two of us and now we are stuck in perpetual winter and monsoon with a little sunshine. ugh!
If the economy wasn’t so bad we would sell our home and most of our stuff and move to Hawaii to enjoy the sunshine, the lovely trade winds, and lots and lots of beach. Mostly beach. I really miss sitting on the beach and watching the sunset while the clouds make fun shapes in the sky and change to such vivid colors. I hunger for the colors and sunny days of my youth in California.
